Hosted by Grow Louisiana Coalition (GLAC), Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association (LMOGA) and the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association (LOGA), Oil & Natural Gas Industry Day will provide hundreds of attendees with the rare opportunity to discuss issues impacting Louisiana’s energy industry with professionals in the field, along with state lawmakers. New this year, attendees will get to experience interactive activities such as a virtual reality look at offshore platforms, S.T.E.M education activations and an overview of the Oyster Shell Recycling Program.

“We urge everyone working in and alongside the industry to stand with us on April 24, to tell our leaders why the industry is so crucial to the future of our state,” said Grow Louisiana Coalition Executive Director Marc Ehrhardt. “For more than 100 years, the oil and natural gas industry has been an important economic leader and community partner in Louisiana, and we need to be sure it stays that way.”

Supporters include state lawmakers, industry leaders, suppliers, partners, employees, professional associations and industry veterans, as well as members of the next generation of industry workers. These supporters of the oil and natural gas industry understand the vitality of the industry to Louisiana’s economic success and our way of life.
