Steve Burnett, Crude Oil Calendars, gives a history of his Crude Oil Calendars and cartoons. Burnett, who has worked in the oil and gas industry since age 14, explains how his background helped shape his calendars and cartoons.

The paradigm shift in oil and gas is talked about along with the Big Crew Shift and Retirement Issue. Burnett comments how during the 1990’s industry was in a downturn with oil prices as low as $8/barrel and companies did little hiring and an entire generations was passed over.

The interview also dives into capitalism, changing skill sets, top to bottom communication and how oil and gas CEOs are much more accessible today than 30 years ago.

Crude Oil Calendars and cartoons are available for purchase and seen in numerous newspapers and magazines.
