MVP Acquires Oklahoma Oil Pipeline

MVP Holdings said on Feb. 1 that it has acquired the Great Salt Plains Pipeline.

The company said the transaction, which was conducted through several of its subsidiaries, included the acquisition of trucking and marketing assets in Oklahoma and Kansas from affiliates of JP Energy Development for an undisclosed sum.

“This acquisition fits extremely well with our long-term vision of supporting independent oil and gas producers in the midcontinent, as well as extending and diversifying growth into Oklahoma and specifically into the STACK and SCOOP drilling areas of Oklahoma,” MVP President Gary Navarro said in a statement. “These assets are currently in operation and enhance our crude oil footprint within both states.”
