Catalina Consuegra began her career in the energy industry in Colombia and has since built a global career working with both operators and service companies in oil and gas, including experience in deepwater drilling operations with a major energy company.
With over 10 years of experience across traditional and renewable energy sectors, Consuegra specializes in culture, inclusion, and employee engagement. Her work is shaped by her multicultural background and hands-on experience in fast-paced global environments, where she developed a strong passion for fostering inclusive workplaces.
Consuegra is a dedicated advocate for women, women of color, working parents, Latino communities, and the LGBTQ+ community. She previously served as Executive Director of the Energy Diversity and Inclusion Council, where she helped advance industry-wide inclusion efforts.
In 2026, Consuegra was recognized as a Top 50 Culture and Inclusion Professional by OnCon and received the STEM Impact Award from Black Girls Do Engineer. She currently serves in a global inclusion and belonging role at McDermott International, where she leads strategic initiatives to build inclusive, high-performing organizations.
