HOUSTON – Rice Alliance’s Energy Venture Day will host 40 new energy businesses at an energy pitch and networking event May 3 at the Ion.
The event will coincide with the 2022 Offshore Technology Conference and offer entrepreneurs, researchers, investment professionals and business executives an opportunity to network and learn about emerging technologies and promising companies.
Energy Venture Day’s areas of focus this year include data analytics and software, water treatment, advanced materials and carbon capture.
The companies will present tech solutions to key industry investors and leaders at the event. The “Most Promising Companies,” as voted on by the investors, will be announced at the conclusion of the program.

Prior to the pitches, presenting companies participate in office hours which are introductory, one-on-one meetings with venture capitalists, corporate investors and angel investors.
