In the spirit of the slogan “Solutions for a Sustainable Future”, the energy industry from all over the world will meet at E-world energy & water from May 23–25, 2023 at Messe Essen. As an important industry trade fair, E-world sets important impulses in the areas of sustainable technologies and intelligent energy supply. National and international exhibitors present their innovations for a climate-neutral future of the energy industry at E-world.
In addition to the exhibitors, the wide-ranging program of lectures at the four specialist forums will highlight the industry’s contributions to the realization of national and European climate targets. The focus will be on the expansion and integration of renewable energies in Germany and Europe, the communication of the energy turnaround, requirements and possible challenges for the future energy industry, as well as the effects and changes of the energy industry on energy supply companies, end users and consumers.
In addition, the international orientation of E-world is very much in focus, as it is registering particularly strong international interest this year. A particularly large number of companies will be coming from Belgium, Denmark, Great Britain and Norway. Denmark will be represented on a joint country stand, as will Japan, Sweden and France. The Consulate Day will also be held on May 24, at which international consulate representatives will exchange information and make important contacts with companies in the energy industry.
After a successful joint stand last year, Hydrogen 2023 will get a bigger stage. This year, there will be the new Hydrogen Solutions exhibition area in Hall 2. The area bundles companies from all areas of hydrogen, such as generation, mobility, infrastructure and trade, thus uniting the entire value chain in one area. Also integrated in this exhibition area is the Hydrogen Solutions expert forum, which will focus, among other things, on the transformation of gas grids, hydrogen as a tradable commodity and the development of H2 exchanges.
In order to enable the professional exchange all year round, the E-world Community as a digital platform connects the energy industry 365 days a year. Here, members can network with each other or with exhibitors, learn about new products and services, receive industry updates, and prepare for their trade show visit. The E-world Community offers a whole range of new cooperation opportunities and thus enables particularly effective and sustainable networking… Registration is free of charge for visitors.

Oil and gas operations are commonly found in remote locations far from company headquarters. Now, it's possible to monitor pump operations, collate and analyze seismic data, and track employees around the world from almost anywhere. Whether employees are in the office or in the field, the internet and related applications enable a greater multidirectional flow of information – and control – than ever before.
