Last spring, a difficult but responsible decision was made to postpone the 23rd World Petroleum Congress for a full year until December 2021. “We believe that current trends affirm we can hold a safe, in-person event that will be important for our industry this December,” said Jeff Shellebarger, Chairman of the 23rd World Petroleum Congress Organizing Committee. “Attendees will have the opportunity to come together to network, build relationships, and to participate in conversation and dialogue to understand global perspectives on the future of energy, energy transformation, and the priorities going forward.”
In addition to the Congress program, delegates can explore the Congress exhibition — spread across 50,000 sqm (500,000 sq. ft.) of the George R. Brown Convention Center — where hundreds of companies will showcase cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions from around the world.
