Tanzania to begin building Ntorya gas-field pipeline with completion targeted for July 2026

Global pipeline construction set to surge, with 549 new oil and gas lines projected between 2025 and 2030

The United States is the largest gas producer in the world, with operations and pipelines dotting the US energy market. The natural gas market has been the backbone of the US energy market for decades, and shows no signs of easing up or slowing down any time soon. With the world’s gas buyers searching furiously for a non-Russian gas supplier, the US has stepped up to become the go-to destination for the international gas buyer. Now, Evers and Sons, a US-based gas company, has announced that it has been awarded the contract to construct a new gas pipeline in South Texas.

The growth of the United States’ oil and gas sector has been a sight to behold

Since taking office for his second term, Donald Trump has been implementing measures to increase oil and gas production in the United States and has simultaneously been rolling back permits for clean energy projects, labeling the renewable energy market as the “biggest con job to ever be perpetrated on the world.”

Trump promised to increase oil and gas production in the United States substantially, and to his credit, he has delivered on that promise. Trump has been on an approving spree that has encompassed the gas and oil market. He signed the One Big Beautiful Bill, which, among other things, aims to increase exploration operations across the US energy market, with the Gulf of Mexico set to play a vital role in the President’s plans for the future.

Even smaller, family-run energy companies are looking to cash in on the gas renaissance in America

While the growth of the US oil and gas sectors has inevitably attracted the attention of some of the world’s largest and most profitable energy companies, some smaller, family-run energy firms are also cashing in on the boom of oil and gas production. Evers and Sons, a third-generation, family-owned and run energy firm, has been awarded the contract to build a new gas pipeline in Southern Texas, the home of the US gas and oil market.

“Our Pipeline Division constructs, replaces, and maintains transmission and distribution lines. Our Maintenance Division ensures long-term reliability through preventive, corrective, and turnaround services. Together, our integrated divisions provide solutions that build, support, and sustain the energy infrastructure around the US.” – Evers and Sons website statement

Evers and Sons Inc. will be the latest US-based energy firm to construct a new gas pipeline in Texas

The company, which owns and operates pipelines across the US, has noted that it has been awarded the contract to construct a new gas pipeline in Texas. Under the scope of the new contract awarded to Evers and Sons is the construction of a new 16-inch steel pipeline, integrating a meter installation, launcher, and receiver to connect a central processing facility, which will then be diverted to an existing pipeline in the region.

With construction already underway, the company has noted the schedule calls for the completion of said pipeline in mid-December. Pipelines are essential to the US gas market, and a litany of companies have been constructing new ones in recent months.

Pipelines have become as part of the American identity as Apple Pie

The news that Ever and Sons will construct the new pipeline in Texas exemplifies the vital role that the conventional gas market has, and will continue to play over the coming years. With Targa Resources set to construct its new 500-mile ‘Speedway” pipeline in the Permian basin, the future of the US gas and oil market is well and truly in US operators’ hands. While some nations are fostering investments in the renewable energy sector, the US is sticking with what has worked for them and increasing gas production.
