The European energy market has seen a significant shift in recent months as more nations turn to the renewable energy sector. One nation that has expressed its positive view of the sector is Germany. Nordex has now revealed it has secured a 123 MW turbine order from DenkerWulf in Germany, marking a turning point in the European energy market as wind power becomes more prominent.

Germany has long been seen as a progressive nation that is not afraid to change and adapt to global sentiments. Following the recent news that the Nordex Group, a market leader in wind turbine manufacturing, has secured three orders from DenkerWulf for its flagship wind turbines, the German wind sector is set to dominate the market in the coming years.
The order consists of 25 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 122.7 MW. To ensure the success of the project, Nordex will maintain all turbines in the new order from DenkerWulf under a premium service contract for 20 years.
The three wind farms that will feature the new turbines are located in the Schleswig-Holstein region of Germany. The Galmsbüll Bahrenhof wind farm, the Galmsbüll Park wind farm, as well as the Padenstedt wind farm will feature the state-of-the-art wind turbines manufactured by the Nordex Group.

The substantial wind turbine orders that Nordex has secured from DenkerWulf point to the shift in the market as Europe prepares for a future without Russian energy resources. Germany, at least, is preparing for wind power to dominate the renewable energy market.
