Oilfield Helping Hands Permian Basin Chapter to host first Black Gold Bash

A Critical Mineral at a Critical Moment: The Importance of Restoring Domestic Tungsten Production in the U.S.

HOUSTON – Oilfield Helping Hands (OHH), a nonprofit charitable organization comprised of volunteers devoted to providing assistance to oilfield workers in financial crisis, will be hosting its first Black Gold Bash at the La Hacienda Event Center in Midland, Texas on June 14, 2019.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a VIP dinner and live auction and will conclude with a performance by Stoney Larue and Wade Bowen at 10 p.m. and a VIP after party with Adam Wakefield from TV show ‘The Voice’ from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Bill Markus, OHH president, said, “We are extremely excited to kick-off this event that will become an annual event. We have many corporate sponsorship opportunities available at various levels. This event will provide networking opportunities and great music, while supporting the vital mission of Oilfield Helping Hands. Our goal is to raise $100,000 from this event. Don’t miss out on a chance to be a part of what is sure to be a successful inaugural Black Gold Bash.”

About Oilfield Helping Hands

Oilfield Helping Hands is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, established in Houston in 2003. OHH helps oilfield families in financial crisis due to no fault of their own. Since its inception, the organization has provided more than $4 million to industry workers and their families. In 2017, OHH mobilized into action after Hurricane Harvey and was able to provide more than $350,000 to 217 families. OHH continues to work in the most economical fashion to maximize the funds available to recipients each year.
