TULSA —  Waterfield Energy, LLC, a leading provider of advanced cloud-based oil and gas accounting and transaction management software, announced today that they have completed the purchase of NeoFirma, Inc., a provider of cloud-based software focused on field data capture, operational reporting and well work tracking.

“Acquiring NeoFirma made sense for us for a number of reasons. Their team has developed great software products. Incorporating their product suite into our own allows us to better serve our upstream and midstream clients,” said Pete Waldroop, CEO of Waterfield Energy, on why Waterfield chose NeoFirma. “We’re particularly excited about the advancements they’ve made in field data capture.”

Steve Haglund is the former owner and president of NeoFirma and will now serve as Vice President of Field Operations at Waterfield. Haglund is as excited about the transition. “Not unlike Waterfield, NeoFirma has been committed to producing one of the most robust and easy to use software platforms in the oil and gas industry. As a result of the dedication and efforts of our team, we have made significant strides in achieving those goals. Merging with Waterfield allows us to continue this mission, advance the software and put it into the hands of more users that need it,” commented Haglund. “As equally important, Waterfield’s culture and principles align with ours and we’re confident that they will keep the NeoFirma spirit that our clients and team value alive.”
