Legasea, based in Aberdeenshire, has won a Scottish Green Apple Environment Award in the campaign to
find the greenest companies, councils, and communities. They have won their award for environmental best practice in relation to their Subsea Circular Economy services.
Legasea competed against more than 200 other nominations in the Scottish Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice, and they will be presented with their trophy and certificate at a presentation ceremony planned for May 2021, subject to current restrictions being lifted.

The Green Apple Awards began in 1994 and have become established as the country’s major recognition for environmental endeavor among companies, councils and communities.
The awards are organized by The Green Organisation – an international, independent, non-political, non-profit environmental group dedicated to recognizing, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world.
The Green Apple Awards are supported by the Environment Agency, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, the Chartered Institution for Wastes Management and other independent bodies.
