Nine years after entering the UK solar market, Tigo Energy is arriving at Solar & Storage Live UK 2026 in Birmingham with a notable milestone in tow: 211 GWh of Reclaimed Energy delivered across more than 20,000 UK installation sites. The company will use the September 22–24 trade show to mark that record alongside a separate milestone — the advancement of UK installers into the Advanced tier of its Installer Loyalty Program.

Tigo Energy (NASDAQ: TYGO) will exhibit at booth A32 at Solar & Storage Live UK 2026, running September 22–24 in Birmingham. The focus is module-level power electronics (MLPE) optimization and monitoring, built around its TS4 MLPE product family. The show also marks nine full years since Tigo entered the UK solar market in 2017 — and the company is making that anniversary official.

UK market conditions drive demand for Tigo optimization products
The UK’s built environment makes a natural case for module-level optimization. Shading, irregular roof elevations, and urban obstructions are common across British residential rooftops, and all of them chip away at the output of conventional solar setups. Tigo’s technology is designed to recover that lost production.
The numbers show installers are on board. More than 98% of all Tigo MLPE devices installed in the UK include optimization functionality — that’s not a feature people are skipping. On average, Tigo systems in the UK produce 9% Reclaimed Energy, additional output that homeowners can actually see and track through the platform.
Installation volumes tell the same story. After a sharp uptick starting in 2023, Tigo recorded nearly 1,000 new UK sites in Q2 2026 alone, with around 500 more added in July 2026. That’s not a plateau — that’s acceleration.

Since 2017, UK installers have deployed Tigo MLPE devices at more than 20,000 customer sites, producing a cumulative 211 GWh of Reclaimed Energy — additional output directly attributable to Tigo’s optimization technology.
That figure isn’t just a headline number. Installers use the Tigo Energy Intelligence (EI) app to display real-time and cumulative production data, giving customers a visible record of what optimization is actually doing for them. Clark Gourlay, Electrical Installation Manager at Union Technical Services Ltd., noted that customers aren’t always sure what Reclaimed Energy means at first — but once they see the additional production in the EI app, “it becomes quite convincing.”
Union Technical Services Ltd. is one example of a UK installer that’s scaled deployments rapidly using Tigo systems. That growth earned it recognition within the Installer Loyalty Program, and Tigo’s Senior VP of Sales EMEA cites it as one of the strongest Tigo installers globally.
Tigo expands installer support through training programs and the GO ESS platform
Ahead of the Birmingham show, Tigo completed a cross-country installer training roadshow across the UK — part of a broader push to build installer confidence, especially around the GO Optimized ESS platform recently released in the UK market.
The GO Optimized ESS pulls several components into one connected ecosystem: the GO Battery, Tigo EI Inverter, TS4 Flex MLPE products, GO Junction for heat pump integration, and the Tigo Energy Intelligence software platform. The goal is to give installers one coherent system covering solar production, storage, and home heating, without having to stitch together products from multiple vendors.
For first-time GO Optimized ESS installers, the Green Glove program adds another layer of support. It includes a professional system design review before installation and Tigo technical experts on standby during the job, with a direct feedback loop back to Tigo engineers. The Tigo Academy rounds things out with structured onboarding training for both new and existing installers.
Installer Loyalty Program background and structure
The Tigo Installer Loyalty Program runs across three tiers — Certified, Advanced, and Elite. Each requires installers to hit defined training completions and installation volume thresholds, with higher tiers unlocking more business benefits and priority technical support. The structure is designed to reward growth and align installer success with Tigo’s own.
Mirko Bindi, Senior VP of Sales EMEA and MD Europe at Tigo Energy, put it plainly: “We firmly believe that solar must be a team sport between technology providers and the companies deploying the systems.” The Loyalty Program, alongside Green Glove and the training roadshow, is how Tigo puts that belief into practice.
