There is a lot of movement in the contemporary energy industry as corporations are increasingly following the blueprints that have been established by other countries. Additionally, there is an increased amount of collaboration because there are only a select few companies that can execute specific projects, meaning more countries will rely on them. In the latest development, Eastern International has secured a contract to build a 62.5 MW onshore wind project, which is a massive positive for the people who stand to gain a reliable source of energy.

What a way for Eastern International to enter the wind energy generation landscape

For a company that is unfamiliar with wind power production, it is truly astounding that its first involvement is to pursue a 62.5 MW onshore wind project that many corporations would not have been brave enough to attempt, considering its risky nature.

The subsidiary of Eastern International, named Guizhou Tianrun Zhicheng Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., made headlines after securing two significant construction deals for the Hongze 62.5 MW Wind Farm Project. This means it will be responsible for delivering services such as land reclamation and road construction, which are all crucial to the development of a wind farm. The construction deal reportedly equals an estimated amount of US$13.02 million. A total of US$1131 million will be dedicated toward preparing the site and building a suitable road, which are both essential to executing the project as it is planned on paper.

The Hongze 62.5 MW Wind Farm: The significance of the development

The officials involved with the project have expressed how monumental it is for them, especially considering the context. Eastern International’s chief operating officer, Mr. Lin Tan, stated that:

“These successful bids and the achievement of the first breakthrough in the wind power construction sector are crucial strategic move for the Company. Eastern International will adhere to the high standards for this ‘first wind power construction project’ and plan and manage the construction scientifically to ensure comprehensive control over project quality, safety, and schedule. The Company is fully committed to delivering a high-quality project for our clients and establishing a strong reputation in the wind power construction field.”

It should not be missed that the Company itself will be able to gain from the development because it has an opportunity to grow when it comes to wind energy development. The energy industry consists of companies establishing their name and using their reputation to secure bigger and better deals. Hence, Eastern International, if it executes the project accordingly, will benefit massively in the future.

Why has this company been awarded such a massive energy deal?

When the news first broke, there were many people who were questioning the relevance of Eastern International’s wind power generation initiative. The answer to this is that China’s demand for wind power is continuously soaring, making it necessary for its government to invest in projects that will supply it. China is one of the nations that are heavily committed to clean energy generation, and the Hongze wind farm is another representation of this fact.

Looking ahead: What are the stakes for Eastern International in this wind farm initiative?

For a company that is actively working towards entering the energy realm, some people believe this might be too big a responsibility. However, the world is technologically advanced enough that nothing is impossible for Eastern International to do when developing the Hongze wind farm.

The stakes are very high for Eastern International, and there are a lot of people depending on it to deliver the project. The Company aims to prioritize safety and project management to provide a top-notch energy project. At this point, the results of the wind farm can either make or break Eastern International as well as disappoint or deliver to the many people who are expectant.
