OleumTech®, a leading provider of industrial automation and instrumentation solutions, today announced the launch of SIMPLE LOGIC, an I/O control solution that enables users to automate processes locally and wirelessly across OleumTech OTC Wireless Sensor & I/O Networks. Integrated into OleumTech BreeZ® 8 Configuration Software, SIMPLE LOGIC provides an intuitive drag-and-drop environment for creating control functions without the need for programming or a separate controller.

Simple logic allows logic functions to be applied to all available system inputs, regardless of whether they are contained within the local network or peered wirelessly into the local network from a remote neighboring network without the need to run conduit and wire. These logic functions can then be executed to generate outputs and share logic states with other gateways across the network, providing greater flexibility for distributed monitoring and control applications.

BreeZ 8 makes it easy to build control functions with no programming required. Users can drag and drop inputs, link them to logic functions, and map the resulting outputs. Available functions include math, logic, limits, counters, timers, and flow functions supporting a broad range of applications.

“SIMPLE LOGIC gives our customers a much easier way to add basic control functions directly within the OTC Wireless Network,” says Vrej Isa, COO. “By combining our proven wireless technology with a drag-and-drop editor, users can configure simple logic using supported OleumTech hardware they already own, without programming or the need for additional hardware.”

Please contact an OleumTech representative to learn more about SIMPLE LOGIC and how it can simplify remote monitoring, control, and automation applications.
