Petrobras links production investment to domestic gas price reduction
The records arrived alongside a pointed policy statement from Petrobras president Magda Chambriard.
“Petrobras has repeatedly invested in increasing the country’s gas production, and these investments are the only ones capable of reducing the price of gas,” Chambriard said. The argument is direct: supply drives price, and supply comes from capital investment in upstream capacity.
