There is great excitement surrounding the initiative as it is expected to contribute renewable electricity to the Texas grid while assisting Meta in progressing its commitment to matching its operations with 100% clean energy. In the earlier part of the year, Zelestra launched construction on the 176 MWdc Skull Creek Solar Plant in Texas and the 200 MWdc Reclamation Solar Project in Indiana.
Simultaneously, the 81 MWdc Jasper County Solar Project in Indiana has entered full commercial operation, becoming the first completed project under the collaboration.

The Palmera agreement means that Meta and Zelestra now have eight solar PPAs across the United States, which is reflective of an estimated 1.4 GWdc of contracted generation capacity that is expected to be operational by 2028.
